With the Member/Guest complete our focus is now on the thin areas on greens
It is now October and time for us to prep our Bermuda greens for winter. As we do this you will notice the green speeds varying day to day. This process includes raising mowing heights, and decreasing some of our chemical applications. All of this necessary to avoid the issues many of the Carolina courses had this past year.
With the cooler temperatures we now have a fighting chance to repair the thin areas on Blackheath's greens as well. There will be a more aggressive seeding and watering schedule. Please do your best to avoid these areas and I apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
