10/11/18

* We are cleaning drains/drop inlets in preparation of the rain associated with Tropical Depression Michael
* This time of year, we raise the height of cut on our Bermuda fairways and tees in order to give more "cushion" for the colder temperatures of winter.  The height will be raised from .500" to .750"
As I mentioned in an earlier post this height adjustment includes the Champion greens which will be raised to .180"
*  I received a few emails with regards to a soft, almost clear mass floating in a couple ponds.  A picture was sent to Solitude Lake Management for identification.  The mass is a microorganism also known as a fresh water sponge.  The sponges are an indication of healthy water and of no concern
