Painting of Blue Heron Greens

The attached photos show Greg Otto applying the first application of Endurant Colorant to the greens on Blue Heron.

There are two main reasons we use colorants.

The first is definition.  Basically, by coloring the greens it gives golfers a visual target.  Without the colorant the greens have the same dormant or straw color as the approach and fairway.

The second reason, applying a dark green colorant actually keeps the surface of the green warmer.  Application of colorants has shown a 4-6 week earlier green up of the Bermuda compared to non colored greens.
