Due to the extended heat and lack of rain over the
last month, the golf courses are being forced to limit the amount
of irrigation water applied to the roughs. As the drought
continues water will be restricted to the fairways and lastly the tees. These water restrictions are necessary to
safe guard the amount of water needed to maintain our greens.

We have one more phase to complete with regards to our Blue Heron irrigation upgrade: replace the pump motors in the pumphouse. This is scheduled for Thursday 5/9/19. This will involve the rental of a crane which will be staged at the pumphouse (building behind 13 green).
We have a contractor scheduled to replace the lost turf on our tees. This work should begin next week. As part of this work, a new forward tee will be built on hole 3 of Marsh Hawk.

We are in the final stages of the Blue Heron irrigation upgrade! Hydrolinks, our contractor, will be finishing in the next couple of days. Its been a long process with delays due to weather conditions. We continue to do some "clean up" behind the contractor, installing sod and adding a concrete walkway to the bathroom on holes 4/15.
Our new skid steer arrived today which will be a huge help with topdressing and getting other projects on our to do list complete.
Our new Sandpro is being assembled in Richmond, with a scheduled delivery next week.
We have seen the first signs of our famous solitary ground wasps. The wasps are typically not a threat to humans. Regardless we are treating them early mornings before our Members and Guests enter these areas.
